Behind the glam, the clothes, the smile, and the woman you see today is a story many people may never know. L.A. Owens, is my pen name for LeAndrea Rivers Owens, as an author, survivor, and advocate my life experiences have shaped my passion for healing, resilience, and helping others. From growing up alongside a Vietnam veteran father who struggled with PTSD and Agent Orange to experiencing painful and abusive relationships as an adult, I have faced moments that could have broken me—but chose not to let them define me!
